Peter G.H. Hwang

The services are led by Peter G.H. Hwang who is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office having passed the "patent bar". As a Patent Agent he is experienced in representing inventors in filing patent applications and responding to office actions during patent prosecution. Mr. Hwang has managed external patent counsel in addition to writing and filing patents in mechanical design, software architecture, business processes, verification analysis, analog/digital circuit designs, and network managament systems.
Prior to founding Patentry, Mr. Hwang had extensive management experience in silicon valley startup companies as well as strategic marketing consulting at General Electric and sales at IBM. Mr. Hwang received his BSEE from MIT and his MBA from Stanford University.
Mr. Hwang fulfills the role of the client's director of IP Management reporting directly to the client CTO, VP Engineering, or CEO. This ensures that patent applications support the revenue plans and company valuation model.
